I am so generous in loving. That is, loving who I choose to love. Yes, I am aware that I am not the most saint person ever. I have sins, and some of them I commited willingly. Consider myself as someone who chooses to do what he pleases, and fullknowingly understands the consequences, yet is too blinded and tempted by the pleasure brought by the actions. I would consider myself a very liberal person and is open to a lot of new things and ideas, and is open-minded enough to respect anyone with any background, identities, and beliefs. I was born in a time of change, where nations around the world are beginning to open their arms to hug the people whom had been hiding in the shadows. Where societal norms are being rewritten and the world, as people say it, are getting "softer". Although, what most people get wrong is that, hugging those people essentially means that you are one with them. I disagree. I still hold true to my beliefs, and I'm still standing on my own feet. I understand their concerns when they close off their world, though. They are afraid, that by allowing these people into their worlds, their values would deterioate and erode. That people around them would start turning into these people. But I believe that the people they are trying to avoid aren't the problem. It's them. The people who closes their world. Because these people are too weak-minded and too easily persuaded that they would much rather isolate themselves from these people rather than holding true to their beliefs and live alongside these people. The analogy is this: consider that the world is a river, and you are standing right in the middle of it. It changes like how the current runs. It tries to drag you along. Some people chooses to fight and walks against the current, it hurts them and wastes energy. Others, give in and let the current take them, where they would float along. But I choose to stand still. Not giving in, and not fighting against. You would stand still where you stand, and the river will flow around you. You are at peace.
